A CEO Making Easy Customers’ Woes

After his stint with Canon as a group director for 12 years when Dr. V.P. Sajeevan took over as the CEO of ESY India,- a subsidiary of a Malaysian company he even did not have his office space. With few employees that can be counted on finger head, he used to run his office from his home. But within five years of time, he made ESY India as a leading POS ( Point of Sale Product ) company in India with a spectacular growth rate of 800 percent per annum.

“When we entered the Indian market we faced the herculean tasks of competing with hundred years old well-established companies in India. Despite all the hurdles we marched forward in geometric proportion. This is because of our focus on high-quality products, prompt service and understanding of customers’ requirement both explicit and implicit manners. All our salespeople work like a consultant,” said CEO Dr. VP Sajeevan seating at his posh locality office in Sohna road Gurgaon.

ESY India entered the Indian market with ink, today the company has forayed into different segments like cash drawers, thermal printer, cash register, 2D barcode scanners, desktop label printer to name a few. Right now all the leading retailers’ chains of India, hotels, restaurants and retails outlet owners are the customers of ESY India.

On the price factor of his company’s product CEO Sajevan said, ” Prices is a dynamic factor. We value for money, that’s why today we have around one million customers, with 300 dealers, 256 service centres touching all the nook and corners of the country. By 2020 we will be the leading brand in India. This is in tune with PM Digital Indian Intuitive.”

Down the line in 2019 the company also plans to come into production line establishing its manufacturing units in India preferably in Chennai.
